I'm XX unfortunately

Chris Martin isn't sexy alright. he's just too cute and his accent melted me, right away at the very moment he started to even breathe, with that accent. see how attached i am to British guys and bands and their accent? hahahaha. i'm obsess like that. the plain pastel blue tee he put on that night was suddenly, the most attractive plain t-shirt ive ever seen. oh how i hope last night never actually ended...

anyways, uhm. they came up quite off the expected stage time, because the concert shouldve started at 730, with the opening band and such, i thought it'd be less than an hour of waiting, well maybe around 830 they'd come off but we only got to see the sight of their drums and stuffs around 830pm so yeah 9pm baru the band naik, wasn't really tardy lah diorang ni.the opening act was Stars but i swear it sounded nothing like music to me. please.. the guy's singing was off key and yet they're sharing stage with the utmost prominence? haha fun stuff.

anyhow, Mr Martin and co came out and we had Violet Hill as our appetizer, which was great because in my recent post, (if u followed my blog that is,) i had this one as my "current fave" song. and yes he wore the same jacket like the one he had in the vc okayyyyy. how cool is that??

did a lil bit of recording here and there. but it'd be a mess to put up all here so im gonna put some of my favourite videos. but first off here's the list of the tunes they rocked on last night, in no order:

  1. Violet Hill
  2. Fix You
  3. The Scientist
  4. Lovers In Japan
  5. Cemeteries in London
  6. Clocks
  7. Yellow
  8. In My Place
  9. The Hardest Part (he had this one on his piano, which was mind-blowingly uh-mazing!)
  10. Viva La Vida
  11. Speed Of Sound
  12. Strawberry Swing
  13. 42
  14. Life in Technicolour
  15. Lost
  16. God put a smile on your face
  17. Politik
  18. Death and all his friends
  19. Death will never conquer
  20. Chinese Sleep Chants

they pretty much did most of their famous tracks but honestly i like their new album more. sungguh Beatle-ish. being The Beatles die-hard fan has put me in the likings of Snow Patrol, Radiohead and these guys. but i'm more of a Snow Patrol's actually. sape yg kenal aku, taulaa..

anyhow, the new ones (songs) pulled off my nerves, like seriously. sbb less distracted, (by the audience probably due to the infamous-ness) hence more spaces for the band to let their music speaks out and thus, me drooling over lah.

and to my surprise, Mr Martin was so friendly that he kept on asking if everybody's ok and stuffs and making jokes over Canadians and Oasis (the band that happened to come here before and got attacked by the Canadians) and tumbled over after tuning his piano and actually ran to the audience at the back and brought his guys along and play a couple of songs in the middle of the audience. whaaaat???
as a rookie for concert-goers, everything was near perfect to me. i had the coolest night ever. well at the very least, Coldplay did a marvelous job on setting the standard for the upcoming concerts im going to. and i reckon outdoing them would definitely break one's neck! tough luck huh.
