i had an appointment today, so i packed up my stuff (passport,id, bag, old glasses etc) and went straight to Baseline station. I didnt wait long for the bus thank God cause it was drizzling and i was literally shivering.

the appointment was at 12 sharp but i was there way ahead of time, and since college square is where Aldo, Guess, Garage, Dynamite, Tommy Hilfiger and La Senza are, i headed there.

did a bit of look arounds till it was then 12. i quickly ran out and went in to the appointment place. an old lady came over and offer me her service. then nanue went, "uhm, i actually have an appointment today at 12."

after i handed her 75bucks, she brought me in and asked me for my id. luckily, i had it.

"have a seat, the doctor will be seeing you in a moment"
"sure!"

it was only me, and the other unknown lady. all i did was blinking.

"seherrina ??"
"yes"
"come in"

*doctor's room, door closed*

"hi, i'm dr shelly. i'm the doctor for today. all i want you to do now is sit there up on the tall chair, and we'll have a brief interview first. okay??"
"alright"
"so, seherrina. how're you?"
"been great, can't complain. yourself?"
"im good thank you. so, when was the last time you had your eyes checked?"
"august last year, but uhm i'm not so sure, though"
"well its okay. so, why do you come for an eye exam?"

aku henyak jugak doktor ni karang, sah2la mate aku rabun itu pasaila aku datang!

*nanue cerita secara menggelabah*
" i kinda feel that my eyes aren't working well, uhm, technically. with my glasses on, i usually could see quite a distance but it doesnt really work for me these days, uhm .. well yeah, been a month or so now, i guess. errr..."

"ok, i see your problem."

so the interview went on and it was draggy okehhhhhhhhhh.....
like, who wouldve asked whether if i had diabetes or not. well, maybe it has something to do with my eyes but ugh this is a midget you're talking to okeh?? do i really look like i have diabetes? layankan ajelah.

so the exam started. the usual A E I O U reading with my glasses on once, and without it. and the supertiny bottom lines, i failed naming any. pfft.

uhuh, if u happened to have your eyes tested back in Msia, they really don't have this part where they put a droplet or two of a yellowish solution inside your eyes (where at this point your eyes will turn yellow) and the doctor will hold a small machine-like thingy right in front of your eyes and go " stay still. hold on, blink as much as you can"

and woosh!! a really really bright light was directed right at my eyeball and that blinded me for a sec. terang nak mampos.

"what i did just now was to check the activity of your eye muscles, the pressure of your eyeballs and to look directly at the back of your eyes. looks like u have a pair of healthy eyes. the pressure and muscle contraction was good"

aaaaaa... now i can see where my 75 bucks go.

so moral cerita ni ialah, power mate aku meningkat menjadi 350 sebelah dan 250 sebelah. jagelah mate korang sebaiknye ye kawan2.
