Frowny Friday

Hi everyone. I'm about to nag and I don't care if this hurts anybody out there because to be honest, I'm not firing anyone. This post has random distribution; in terms of whom I dedicate this to. I want to nag because I find it perfect for days when you can't be bothered to faff about being inspirational or creative or whatsoever. But still, feeling the rush to write and post something up, just because.

You have all the license in the world to judge me after reading this.

Case A: Honest to God, I can never take pictures of myself in front of a mirror. Even the idea itself pains me. Having to stand and pose in front of a friggin mirror. Ugh, I can never understand these people and I can never put my head in the heads of people that pose like that, let alone posing in front of a mirror, in the changing room with fancy clothes and pouts and .... Hello? AND WHAT WITH THAT PRICE TAG ON? Eish, these people. Pathetic.
You can go ahead and look at my profile pictures on Facebook. NONE of them are of those kinds. For once, I'm actually proud of myself.

Case B: Also, I'm a firm believer. Certain people choose to be 50:50 on certain issues, certain go 100% etc. Well for me, I try my best, and always will, to go 100% on this one. I try my best not to put pictures of myself not wearing hijab for public viewing. Minimizing the number of people who have that privilege of seeing my hair.
And that's just how I roll. I choose to run in this lane. I know I'm not an ustazah that preaches around etc etc, and I myself don't cover up well, I commit million sins, I don't memorize the whole Quran, etc. In fact, I'm far from being a perfect Muslim, but I am trying. And I think we all should try, you know? Well, you can do whatever you want, I'm not judging, I'm not criticizing, not, in any way, firing any particular person, but this is just my own personal stand. Take this as a friendly reminder for all of us. So that whenever you see me crossing the line, (i.e posting up bare-headed pictures) you can just tap me on the shoulder and say "Nanue, weren't you the one who said yada yada?". Because we all make mistakes. No one's escaping from it. So are you. And me. That's why I'm typing this up so that everyone is aware of my stand and warn me if I step out of my lane.

Case C: Oh. If you want people to read your blog, please remove whatever song you have playing in the background!
You have no idea how annoying it is especially when the stop button is nowhere to be found!

Case D: The other thing I'd like to address here is courtesy. Simple, but it seems like it costs a fortune for everyone to adhere. I find courtesy a simple and pleasant way to please people that requires no cost. If you quote someone else, please please please give credits. It's a nice way of saying thanks, don't you think? I've seen this a couple of times, I was amazed at the writings and such but turned out, it was directly copy pasted from someone else's. And make people believe it's yours? Oh my, that is just not nice. Not nice at all.

These are just some of the small things that I find heavily neglected by many, including myself.
I'm now dry with ideas as to how to end this post. Sorry if you find this embodies no flow. Haih.

Ah, I will not bother myself with thinking. I'm just gonna go end this with a thank you.

I LOVE this post. I can REALLY relate to all of things you mentioned, not least of all this:

Case C: Oh. If you want people to read your blog, please remove whatever song you have playing in the background!
You have no idea how annoying it is especially when the stop button is nowhere to be found!

Each time I come across one, I just close the window. Waste of my time.
